What is Potassium Humate (Humic & Fulvic Acid) good for?
Pretty much everything!
Potassium Humate is a soluble black flake extracted from a mineral called Leonardite. This substance is rich in both humic acid and fulvic acid, both of which have powerful effects on soil and plants.
Application of humate has been shown to greatly increase the efficiency of fertilisers by increasing their availability within the soil. Humate helps plants to absorb more nourishment, as well as stimulating them to grow more robust root systems.
Humate is useful throughout the life cycle of your plants – you can soak seeds in a humate solution to improve their growth right from germination.
Watering with humate after repotting can improve plants’ recovery and reduce transplant shock.
Using humate on crop plants through the growing season increases yields and drought resistance.
In short, it’s a powerful all-rounder and an absolutely essential addition to your gardening, allotment or houseplant toolkit.
Promotes root development, increases leafy growth, and improves flowers and fruiting.
